Thank you all . I have been trying for an armrest for quite sometime. Heard that the swift arm rest fits Punto also. But it was available only in full beige color. I am trying to get a black one

Didnt know it show things like these too. Cool.

One good thing is that they make a note of already present scratches, accessories in car ,fuel level, tool kit, stepney, tyre make and all while giving the vehicle (Maruti owners reported that this is not done for them).
Thought all A.S.S. do these, if not, great!

The vehicle was supposed to be ready by 5PM. Got an SMS from TASS by 4PM that the car is ready. Reached there by 5.30 and the vehicle was ready. Cleaning was very well done . Steering pull was corrected. Wheel alignment was done and this was Free.Have read that some owners were charged for this. Clutch slave cylinder had no issues they said.
Surprised again ! Maybe only for FIAT they have the SMS part.

And nice seat covert for 5000rs.

Thanks NutsNBolts for your comments

After coming back from the T-Bhp meet on 26th Jan i noticed that the driver side floor was getting wet. I knew that this issue was present in linea bcoz of the A/C drain tube getting disconnected. Took the car to A.S.S today and the drain pipe was indeed disconnected. they reconnected it and tied the mouth with a plastic tag. Checked for leaks by turning on the A/c for about 15 mins and there was no issue. Water was dripping out to the ground as expected.

Just check your car for this issue

Update - Upgraded headlights to Rally 100/90

Having been blinded by the trucks and buses who never dim their lights, i decided to upgrade the lights in my punto. Thought of xtreme powers and night breakers. But they are too expensive, for its the bulbs only. Decided to upgrade to Philips Rally 100/90.
Component Wise split up
Bulbs - 155 (each).
Roots wiring kit - 515
Roots Relay - 157

Total - 982 rs (MRP) and the dealer agreed to do it for 900. Punto has a plastic cover behind the bulbs. This has to be either pierced or removed to place ceramic(plastic will melt away due to the extra heat) holder in the Roots wiring kit. I decided to pierce and route the wires as removing the cover can cause dust/water to enter the headlight assembly. The light has much better spread and throw now .Low beam is enough to drive in city. Refrain from using the high beam un-necessarily. 900 Rs well spent.Recommended upgrade .Punto Emotion - the driving diary - 15k/2nd service done-06022010002.jpgPunto Emotion - the driving diary - 15k/2nd service done-06022010.jpg

Went to speed tyres Kochi on friday. Wanted to upgrade the 175/70 R14 bridgestones to yoko A -drives 185/70 R14 . Main intention was to reduce the tyre noise. After bargaining the dealer gave the Yokos for 3100 each.

Job completed in 1 hour . Let the pictures do the talking

The tyres are a joy to drive on. Tyre noise is almost non-existent. you have to listen for it to hear and the grip also has improved . Very happy with the tires

Michelins are a bit more pricier . Also heard from users that the life is very low and the dealers for Michelin are not good here. So went for Yoko. Almost the same as Michelin at lower price

Lack of Vitamin M right now. So no upgrades soon. But for sure it will be alloys next
