Not sure if they were imports or Indian prototypes, but they were there. I didnt see them, but a colleague did. |
I too saw them near the RMZ plaza yesterday. I saw few delegates from Ford being driven. I thought I missed to click a picture but then the next one crosses! damn!:Frustrati
Hey, lets not convert this into the Brazilian or the new Fiesta thread!

One was in Sqeeze colour (i'm 90% sure on this) and the other one was a Maroon (100% sure). There were other cars too that followed but they were Figos.

Maroon is an imported one for sure, The squeeze one is probably the first prototype as i have not seen this in the plant, I think this is the prototype.
Saw a silver Figo few days back, with a protruding bumper (body colored), distinctly different from the standard Figo. It was a perfect fit, you wont even notice the addition unless you watch carefully. I wonder if it can be added like an accessory! The bumper, or lack of it, is the only issue prevententing me from going for the Figo. Any info guys?! Sorry, no pic.
PS: This is my first post.
hey mustang you should give us a new thread based on your job routine and a inside look at going ons in the factory.
strangely inspite of all the bookings not much figos on the roads in these parts.those on road were well modded with alloys and all that.guess all the savings on budget are used to splurge on the mods!

+1
I spent the last weekend at Mangalore and Kannur. I hardly found 3 Figos in Mangalore and 1 in Kannur. There are about 2 in Udupi. I suppose all the big cities have snapped up the 7000 odd Figos.
To All Figonians and Ford Family plus others
I have a query regarding steering. If i turn the steering to the right say to 1 or 2 O clock position, it returns automatically to the center 12 o Clock position. Whereas if the same is done to the left side say 11 or 10 o Clock position it doesn't come back.
Is this an issue with Figo or Ford cars in general or is it just my car doing it.
I have experienced the same on mine. Not sure why it happens like that.
Hi,
I have experienced it now! at security check I did not turn off engine, but only pulled the driver door handle from inside to unlock all door. After security check, when I moved the doors locked automatically.
Reg. Porgramming the key to open drivers door or all 4 doors, details in manual.
cheers,
I turned it to left it stays there, turned it to the right and it stays there also. No difference. Does my car have an issue then ?

Where to see the VIN no in Figo? -- Sorry if it is already answered.

Pull the driver seat all the way back and remove the carpet, you will see the VIN Number. It will also be on the sticker on the rear quarter glass.
2 places:
1 - Under the drivers seat there is a flap with velcro. Open it and you will see the VIN
2 - The Engine bay has the VIN, but you need to search with a flashlight.
Engine# = VIN# = Chassis#.
