Mileage of SX4 AT

That is a great mileage that you are getting Dev. Even Maruti dealers had quoted 8-10 kmpl for SX4 AT to me.

I too seriously considered SX4 AT but finally streched and bought Honda City AT. This because there was a three month waiting period for SX4 AT for some mysterious reason which I could not comprehend. The waiting period is not because of huge demand for AT. However, none of the Maruti dealers were willing to explain the reason for such a big waiting period for the AT variant.

Any ways, congratulations on your buy. Wishing you all the best.

Hi dev.
Congratulations for your new SX4 AT and welcome to the club.

Really surprised at your mileage figures.
After almost 4000kms,my SX4 AT is giving an average mileage of about 11.Infact,just below 11.Atleast 70% of those 3.5k is highway driving.

Could you please give an update with the tank full method.

Also, could you mention what the ground clearance is at the front bumper after fitting that sports kit?

I am surprisingly happy for the FE that you are getting. With my MT and all possible sedate driving (with few spirited situations) I have managed to get 10-11 in bangalore B2B traffic condition. Huh...looks like need a refreshing driving crash course after 16 years of driving. The Maruti chap told me that I can expect a 8-9 figure for the AT.

Quite a good choice on accessories. I replaced my stock Nippon speakers with JBL speakers and the difference is definitely prominent. Of course i cant expect them to perfrom like a whole component based system.

On the first page, the back side photo shows glowing reflectors - is it because of camera or are there any such glowing reflectors or they are not reflectors at all ?

Whats your feedback on the steering ?

I am assuming that there is a soft fabric cover in addition to the glass sunroof? Please confirm!

Some shots of the fabric covering as well would be great!

Anyways lovely purchase and the sunroof looks really cool. In fact it is probably the first SX4 with a sunroof that I have seen. Congrats for your new car.

The sun roof and sport kit really make it look great!

12 kmpl in city with an AT box is quite superb! Do you need to drive very sedately to get this?

Ahmed26, Is your AT is VVT one or earlier version?

Ground Clerance after sports kits is affected by few inches..Specially you need to be careful for front bumper..

Yeah....it is VVT.As flyingspur said,it has been introduced only since VVT

Do u drive all the time on "D"?
Or do u use 3,2, and L?

What about your driving habits?
I mean are u the extra patient type?
Your average and max speeds?

Just asking all this because of the big difference in mileage.

I always drive on D. Very very rarely D3.

Average speed 70-80 & max 100

I do drive patiently that's why I opted for Auto
