I am attaching a few pics of the JUGNU wheel covers, I might just get my rims painted black and these JUGNU covers white, it should look good in my opinion.

As of now I am running on the stock JK tires, my attention & finances have readily shifted focus towards icing up my SX4.

Also since this car will be running around 100km daily, the stock tires would anyway need replacement in the next 6-8 months.

Come on, maglev, those wheel covers are just awful. They will make your car look like a kalyan puri gaonwala stuff or as if it was designed by a person owning a truckers' business...

get a new set of VXi rims from the workshop and fit OE vxi wheel caps on them. That jugnu will really make you ritz look like a cockroach or a blinged up blueline bus from the sides.

I think I should meet you and will give you tips on improvisation.

My old santro came with ugly steel rims on XO and on tyre change, I swapped my old rims with OE black I10 rims (FOC from tyrewallah) and spent 2 grand getting OE hyundai parts wheel covers from the XS.

This is the effect:

Come on Sid, we don't expect such inappropriate statements from a Distinguished BHPian. Such references are derogatory to the entire people of Kalyan Puri Village and entire bunch of Fleet Owners. The Villagers are Humans like us no matter if they don't have a high standard of living. Rather than taking a dig on them, we should thank God we're not in their places.

Regarding Truckers, the drivers decorate their Roadkings not the owners.

Sid, he's already bought OE Wheelcovers of Dzire for 300 bucks (AFAIK). I had a talk with him in the evening. You could've got Santro's OE Wheel covers for the same price or even less.

This is the effect:

Tastes / preferences and needs or requirement can all be different for different people.

All those who live in villages or are truck drivers do not have bad tastes or preference' because of choice but because of lack of any education, mass illiteracy, poverty, etc.
As Tsk13 said it is we who are lucky to have the power of choice. Otherwise even in a democratic country like ours, life can be very unforgiving.

I have seen those Jugnu's on a friends black coloured Alto and somehow I ended up liking it. They may be too flashy or bling all the way but they did look nice on his black coloured car. Since my car is white I wasn't sure about putting them on.

I had done something similar to what you have done on your Santro, My car was riding on 15'' alloys, I wanted the car back in stock shape due to a change in the nature of duties of the car.

I got a set of 4 brand new OE Accent rims(Black) + OE wheel caps for just Rs: 1700/-
For the Ritz I have purchased the OE Swift Dzire wheel caps from the same tire dealer for Rs 300/- only.

Have a look at both:

Blacken the pillars and the rims, the car will turn out very well. Is the film too dark or is it due to bad light?

I always thought the RITZ was a good looking car with a very unique backside even though that is the one aspect of the car that most here seem not to like. Anyways congrats on you your new car @ Maglev

Nice work with the HU maglev. Thats some innovation you did there. Waiting to hear your inputs on the sound quality. Do you have pictures of the install process?

And yes before I forget, congrats on your new LXi. Happy motoring.
