Lunar Beauty Arrives Home! ( My Tata Nano Lunar Silver LX )

Long wait was over on Monday - 15th March 2010 when our Lunar Silver Tata Nano LX was delivered to us. Pretty much ahead of the scheduled delivery period of July - october 2010. I took delivery from Pandit Automotive Ltd in Pune.

It is said that a picture is worth thousand words!
Hence, let me put some pictures first! I will write thousand words soon !!
I will cover my experiences related to booking Nano, Pre-Delivery,Delivery, Driving Experience etc in future posts..

Congrats on your Nano. She's looking hot! I love those alloys. It gels very well with the car. What about that design running along the side. Is it OE or an accessory?

Thank you longhorn! She indeed is hot and beautiful! The design running along the side is not OE it is a Tata Nano genuine accessory. One can buy it from Tata dealership.

So you got your Nano almost 4-8 months before the scheduled delivery date. That's really good!

And those Alloys are looking really awesome!

How much did you pay for the alloys, please? And how much did the decal cost you?
Ps - Whats the OTR Cost in Pune for a LX?

Oh Wow! She looks amazing. As said by everyone, the alloys gel in really well too. Great choice.

How many km has she done? Waiting for a detailed review..

The alloys look super cool. Not a fan of the decals though! Also, did the Tata guys have a left rear view mirror in stock?

Hi svsantosh, Thanks for the complements! OTR cost in Pune for LX ( with Octroi ) is 2,02,000/- INR.
Cost of dcal and alloys gonna come soon in Accessory description. Stay Tunned!

Thanks esteemer! I am sure going to share detailed review soon. She has just clocked 53 kms till date. I am going to take her for a spin over weekend.

LHS ORVM is the biggest pain point that we have today towards Nano! Tata has not made LHS ORVM for Nano. I asked specifically and showed eagerness to pay whatever extra it might take. But it seems that it is not designed at all till date. Unfortunately,There is no provision on the LHS door for mirror .

Thanks Houston! I too found it quite weird that LHS is not available even as an adidtional accessory! Cant understand what is the logic ?
