as you know Gx comes with reverse parking sensors and VX with camera so i am asking what should i do

install an small lcd and keep both operational or connect camera to the rear view mirror and make the sensors dis-operational

he is not taking the sensors back and plans to keep both
I would say keep both sensors and camera, as the sensor diplay is on the existing RVM, you have no choice but to mount the camera display somewhere else. The beep of the sensor is more useful than the camera, IMO.

I too have a Safari GX and this is how I have got the reverse camera installed:

The Black Beauty - My 2010 Tata Safari GX 4X4-img_0468-1280x768.jpg

and the TFT screen for the camera is mounted on the dashboard like this:

The reverse sensors are operational and the display in the inside rear view mirror remains unchanged.

Getting a reverse camera free of cost from Tata, wow!!

It'll be a dealer one and not the OEM, OEM one is quite expensive.
