Amazing write up octane. And congratulations on getting the car.
This is clearly one of the most performance oriented cars. There are thousands of Octavias here in Bangalore, but the RS stands out among them so easily like a leopard out of a herd of deers. You cant help but stare when one passes buy.
I want one now but its so hard to find.Do keep posting about everything.

Sorry to keep you all waiting for the pics.I decided to got the whole hog yesterday at least in the looks department, the way I had always wanted my black RS to look.So the RS went for a tyre upgrade and some a slight cosmetic mods..have a look yourself.I wanted my RS to look understanted and mean.No attention seeking bling for me.Pics have been taken from my 3.2 mp camfone.

Was too tired to give it a properwash and wax before clicking, what with the back-breaking trip to the workshop.Even though it is a neighborhood workshop the quality and dedication to the finish is top notch.I have kept the nuts in the wheels metallic as it goes perfectly with the vRS emblem(the nut represents the chrome , the green skoda emblem on the wheels match the green in the vRS badge, and the red callipers are the exact shade of the red in the vRS..The technician in the workshop was like..with the constant supervision. In the end even he was like it looks too good)Enough words, take a look yourself.

A little OT:But the night I got the RS home was the most sleepless night I had in recent memory.

At around 2 in the night, I somehow wake from my slumber with a little start.."what if all this is just a dream..".Then i put my hands under my pillow and find the RS keyfob there(Yes, i'm still a kid when it comes to all this).Still not completely releived, I make my way downstairs to my parking. Not a soul in sight. As I come closer I can see it..There it is standing.A black silhouette in the dark of the night. There's a sparkle in my eye.It looks the part. For a parking that had been vacant for the past one and a half years(barring the equally menacing p220), this is a worthy entrant. The two looked completely in symphony.More like partners in crime.
Even the corolla standing in my neighbour's parking looked visibly paler than its usual pearl white shade that night. Then again, it might have been just my eyes

@planetrocker:Thanx man.I've gone through those threads a million times.Skoda claims they're obsessed with Quality.I, for a fact know that I'm obsessed with the vRS.

@Vik0728:Thanx a lot for your wishes. The current look is what I had always fantasised about.

@shuvc:I got the alloys painted y'day along with the callipers as i mentioned in my post earlier. Before that the car was completely "showroom condition"; not a thing more, not a thing less.

As for that leave, well, you'll be surprised that I take the car out only on weekends, mostly late nights when the roads are deserted. This is a car that you can really enjoy when you give it some stick.
