I've looked at JB speed. The BMW power kit is on my mind, so no extra money to pay for M3 mirrors and all.
Did you say around 30k? Phew!!

Jbspeed link just in case http://www.jbspeed.com/servlet/the-B...LCI/Categories

Bmw warranty is only 100k kms. So you gotta watch turbo's failure and stuff.

With the official BMW Power kit, it doesn't affect warranty and takes the power to 200 odd bhp and 420nm of torque. Do check it out, read my thread for more info. The only problem is the cost, but then they replace quite a few parts.

Not on the forum, but I've driven one with it, and a friend has done it. Believe me its worth it. The cars character changes completely. Its a much bigger difference than what is shown on paper. Due to the new intercooler and fan the engine seems much more relaxed, also the diesel clatter is reduced by a lot. The push increases quite a bit and the acceleration above 100 increases dramatically.

People around me are gonna kill me if I did. I have already spent 3-400k on mods. It was for 1.4 in chd dealership 2 months back. The diesel clatter is sometimes too much in low rpm. Do you hear a whistle noise at 2000+ rpm? It really worries me.

The price has gone up now to around 2l, but its 50k less without the silencer which doesn't really make a difference. I hear a whistle above 100kmph when the windows are down. The clatter reduces quite a lot with the kit, its half way between the noise of the stock 320d and a 6 cylinder diesel like the 530d.

Wouldn't Faeem of 28 be able to do the wrap? He's a nice skillful chap, but definitely not experienced in wrapping whole car. I could be wrong. I wish I wrapped mine in matte gray! Estimated costs?

There's a good chance its the turbo whistle/whine. Nothing to worry about if your cars performing as usual.

Get it checked if you notice a considerable drop in power. Could be a hose or some other pipe leaking boost.

@ taranonline: about the turbo whistle - I suggest you get this checked if the sound is louder than usual. I had this same problem and I got the turbo replaced under warranty. Although mine was on a suzuki swift
