Re: Nissan Juke - My pocket rocket!

looks wicked overall!

but when you start to disect the looks with different parts and panels. i see Porsche cayenne front. BMW x6ish coupe roof line. and nissan sporty backside.

overall all i wished they had smooth out the roof and pillars treatment. the are a bit straight-ish instead of being a bit curvy. they should have made the roof-line and central cabin exterior more swanky. it could have gelled very well with the overall bubbly modern front and back. i think i am over doing it with my observations.

but anways you can't miss this on the road. looks wicked

Re: Nissan Juke - My pocket rocket!

Never ever expected to see something like that. Really sad that Nissan wouldn't get it in India.. Would really like to scandalize people on the road lol..

But I find the car really eye catching and good looking.. It would be hard to not look at it while staring at either a Maybach or Rolls

Congratulations mate. You have indeed bought a really good car by the looks of it(pun intended)

Let me tell you, I was not impressed with my first look of this car on Automobilemag, but this thread has already changed my view. Congrats on the new car and keep us posted.

P.S: The swastik touch adds the 'India-ness'.

Re: Nissan Juke - My pocket rocket!

Wow. That looks quite funky. But am trying hard to figure out if it is a car or a mini SUV or an SUV

But I like the looks. Reminds me of the Chevy Beat, with the concealed rear door handles and funky interiors

Re: Nissan Juke - My pocket rocket!

The rear door handle reminds me off Chevy Beat , The side profile looks very very very very similar to swift . The over all profile looks a little like Micra . The design is very radical and takes a lot a daring to buy . But am with you on this buddy . I love the looks . I believe this was being marketed as Qasqai in the gulf and my sister is also thinking of buying this . But the size shape the make is a very confused design . SUV , Small Crossover , Big Car ... hmmm maybe an all in one .

Re: Nissan Juke - My pocket rocket!

Mathranik - Congrats on getting the hottest Nissan car.
I read somewhere (should be CNN/TIME) that the Juke spends lowest time (around 6-7 days) sitting in the dealer yard. Such is the demand.
AFAIK this is a small SUV - or is it classified as a crossover?

Waiting for reaction on the 350Z.
To each, his own, I liked and didn't like the Juke
at the same time, but from the @Mathranik's options,
I would have gone with the Camero eyes closed.
Half a dozen 'lost in the US Arab kids' would agree with me

@Mathranik: Congrats on the car, albeit a little late. You like the car, and thats what matters. Drive safe.

Re: Nissan Juke - My pocket rocket!

If I were you mathranik, I'd have bought the Juke too. Albeit in red. I just adore the looks on this one. The interiors seem quite nice too, but i think you could spice it up a bit in there. Way too much black!

Nissan Juke-R

I think this would be a perfect car for the Indian market. Small with some balls! You take a Nissan Juke and marry it with Nissan GT-R running gear. Gives you a hyper rally car.

Re: Nissan Juke - My pocket rocket!

what a beauty! i ve always loved the cute bug like and funky looks of this car. I saw several parked in a dealership outside London some time back and all of them were ready to be delivered! shows that it is greatly appreciated by the motoring public.
a great car indeed! have fun!!

Re: Nissan Juke - My pocket rocket!

Ouch!!! It's ugly to say the least. Surprising or craziness indeed that someone will choose this car when Camaro and Mustang are in the list. USA is full of great looking cars and not expensive also, many of them are not in India so you could be full of choices but wish you all the best. Nissan definitely serves better in USA.

Re: Nissan Juke - My pocket rocket!

Since the debate of love-it or hate-it is still going on, I will be on the love-it side. It looks pretty good in flesh, and it is actually a fairly big car.
