Mind blowing dear mate.

Never did I ever think Thursday morning can be so virtually adventurous. Each and every bit of the narrative had me hooked on. The ease with which you have described the terrain is no where close to the reality i bet. Its always fun to travel in a gang. Rated 5*, keep traveling and sharing such wonderful blogs.

Wow, fantastic write up couple with some great pictures made my day. You mentioned the diesel cars suffered from turbo lag. Were they emitting black smoke due to rarefied air?? Very well chosen hotels. Looking forward for many more such Tlogs from your side. No to mention, rating it 5 stars!!!

Yet another superb blog from you! The word "beautiful" is not enough perhaps. Kudos to the entire team, especially to the little kids.. they won it, they concurred it as well.

My boss happened to be in the same hotel at Kaza with you guys. He met & had some chat with you guys as well. He is a bong and from Hyderabad. He was carrying a camcorder.
I just told him, you met with this red group, dint you? Instantly he told yes, these two SUVs were leading the group!!

I heard you guys had a tough time with food at Kaza Hotel.. Never mind, travelling taught us a lot!

After returning from Spiti trip, when my boss first told there was a group from Calcutta, travelling on their own car, instantly I told they must be from T-BHP (Frankly first name came in my mind was you guys). And here you go!! It was you people!!

One quick question though, did you change your tyres before this trip or what is the acceptable age of the tyres for the kind of terrains you encountered during your trip?

I reverse myself two years back and recall how I met you. Yes it was by reading your travelogues and viewing your enchanting pictures in them. Before that I drove to many places but how to frame my driving experiences were really unknown to me.

Coming back to this trip , it was to me like directly attaining my MBA exams just after attaining secondary exams. I felt like a small boat in the ocean of some great drivers as my companion .

Honestly speaking without yours and specially Bhpian SouraC ‘s guidance on certain parts of KAZA- Manali highway after crossing BATAL would have been really hard for me to take up.

Though I am driving for the past 18 years and have done many road trips, this was my 4th drive to the mountains and such a terrain was equally challenging and exciting to me .

Loved it to the core! I can only remotely imagine the kind of fun and the gala of trip that you guys had! Pictures speak for themselves. Good to see the Kolkata team unite (as always) and completing this wonderful travel.

Dear Samba,

Was following your stopover points and photos on facebook and now that the log is finally out, its a great compilation of photos and narration.

Haven't read the entire travelogue till now but its a mammoth piece put together. Photographs, as usual are mesmerizing and I have run out of words to praise enough!

I just felt that there is a subtle change in your narration style and that makes the writing so lucid

Quick question: How is the stretch from Kunzum Pass to Manali? Some description will be beneficial (if you have already answered it the complete thread, please ignore answering my question)

I have just arrived from an expedition to the Spiti valley. It was a gruelling yet rewarding trip. We missed you all by a week. We also went to Chandra Taal

A wonderful group drive to an equally beautiful region. Good to see the group completing the entire circuit barring Chandratal, and the ultra-reliability of the cars proved once again. Kudos to the group and I hope you all continue traveling places and write about the expeditions! Rated 5*.

What a trip! It takes huge amount of planning, dedication, patience and compromise to make a trip with so many families a success! Special credit to all the members. The pictures are superb as usual and the writing is crisp. Rated 5 stars. Going through the log made me nostalgic as last year we returned to Kolkata from Spiti on this day.
