Hi,

The writeup is awesome and the pics are breathtaking. I have been to Yercaud earlier in the year. Really nice place. Which DSLR did you use?

Beautiful compositions of the Torque twins!

The road from Hosur to Yercaud is driver's paradise indeed!

He got those stickers when he picked up a Green Cotton filter that had to be cut (for reasons unknown) and yet doesn't fit in the stock air box. So all he has is those two stickers on his boot lid and a filter he paid 4,200 bucks for and yet can't use .

Lots of reports of getz crdi Green filters being cut in blore. why is that? its a direct replacement filter. Another question- is the K&N not available for the getz D?

Louis, honestly I have NO CLUE why the filters are being cut. I am assuming a stock replacement filter must go right in. But Shyam says the air box couldn't be shut, so Anil decided to cut it . Even after that it didn't fit. Shyam is a very nice guy, who took the filter and left hoping to get it rectified later on. If it was me, I would have made sure I got my money back the minute I was suggested to cut the filter. And no, I doubt there is a K&N available for the Getz.

The boys are thinking more on the lines of a HKS/Uni filter now. They need a conical given the crazy stuff they have in mind.

Rahul,

I know you guys had a lot of fun. The Getz D is my favourite hatch having come very close to buying one recently. And here you have not just one, but two torquers to conquers the twisty roads.

The pics are breathtaking and the way in which you carried us to Yercaud was wonderful.

Let your camera and excellent capturing skills spend some time with the Baleno too. Can't wait to see the outcome of that.

Actually, we have 3 torque monsters in the group . And I am told atleast two more are going to join us soon. The Getz D scene is really hotting up in Bangalore.

Thank you guys, I am glad you all liked it. Though I know, I haven't had the time to capture Yercaud at its beautiful self owing to the short time we had at hand.

Very nice pictures. Getz looks lovely with the great settings.

Rahul, keep travelling and entertain us with your DSLR.

I think the alloys on Rajs car would suit Shyams car very well. I like those alloys, great taste.
