Finally the mist cleared up by 3:00 so that we could take some pictures of the resort. There were turkeys and ducks too in the garden for company and tea as well.

cottages itself were very clean and recommend anyone to this place. toilets are extremely well maintained and water clean with 3hours of hot water in morning and evening

The place had amazing serving of food, nice play area like TT, carom and other indoor sports. Best part was it had a badminton court unlike the ones we had visited but found barren land.

Entrance to our cottage which was lined with plum trees when hungry please pluck and eat!! as fresh as one can get

The garden was full of wild flowers a photographers delight i must say right guys.Chikku and rocky have spent tuning their skills in closeup for more than hour. it was nice to watch them take snaps.

How i wish my daughter was 3+ years She would have enjoyed this to the hilt.

Not yet siva, but pretty good for a person who has had a DSLR for a little more than two weeks right.

Finally my pc is up

This was the trip I enjoyed the most, without taking my zen.
Kodai had super cool weather at temperatures below 16ºC. Those misty mornings, chilled evenings and cloudy afternoons in between made a good holiday.
Here are a few landscapes on the way to hills.

rest of the pics will follow with report..
pretty busy with work

Mr raj.barcode took some ramp walking lessons from chikku and started posing for the camera. Looks good, why not consider changing profession from architect to model?

Looks like a photography competition is running between Raj, Rocky and Chikku. This has become a visual treat for BHPians and a virtual visit to Kodai

@ rocky; Sorry was held up with lot of work

From here on we went to the lake right in the middle of the town. It is a brilliant place with 5 km road surrounding the lake which makes an apt place for cycling as well. we did try our hand at boating. it was tiresome no doubt.

"The Gift of the Forest" -Land of misty afternoons- kodai-2427518782_5f77e519e0.jpg

The other side of the road is filled with local market, with handicrafts and Tibetan shops which makes the walk around the lake very lively.

we walked around and spent most of the time around the beautiful lake eating home made chocolates. It just was damn good. If i rate ooty chocolates and kodai ones on a scale of 1 to 10
kodai get 10
ooty gets 6

It was made right in front of us and served. Was a little expensive but worth every penny. cost us 650/- per kg. irrespective of the stuffing like almond, raisin etc..

Kodai at night from the hotel

The clouds taken in night mode

We came back to the resort had a brilliant session, it was better with the fact that weather was so cold and hot chicken and fish servings.

Place where we played carom after the session it was 4 degrees or so

p.s I cannot upload the session pictures you guys know why?
