Hemis team was getting ready for their annual festival. Dance practice was going on and those young lamas were having more fun than listening to their seniors..

It was freezing cold. I kept my T-Touch on top of my camera bag. It was showing 1 degree. While driving back from Hemis clouds started turning dark. Really dark. If one can really brave outside.. it could be the perfect light for decent black and white. This was in Karu.

Rudra is back and that too with a bang. Amazing shots and I would love to see more black & white treat from you. I just love your monochrome shots.

BTW, have been toying with the idea of a P&S and S90 have been in my radar. How do you find the performance/handling etc? Would love to try my hand on it sometime.

Rudra, like many others, I am unable to find a word that best expresses how beautiful your pictures are. Truly stunning pictures!

You'll see more monochrome coming this time. They were shot for monochrome as 1Ds cannot capture monochrome.

Kaushik, to put it straight.. I like it. It's also because I've very little expectation from a P&S especially when it comes to features.

This is just next to Leh - Manali highway. Stakna monastery is not a tourist spot. It's one of those many monasteries. Half and hour wait and finishing one large chocolate slab.. The result.
