Why Circuit should have all the fun!!!

No doubt Circuit was the show-stopper of that evening, but his siblings also showed nice expressions too. Here is my attempt to put them together...

Some their expressions are so cute that I just can just imagine to play with them (if alive after that I could have featured in an episode of "I Should Not be Alive!")

It was difficult for me to get good shots in low light, I already put ISO to 1600 the maximum. So I ended up getting lots of noise.

We spotted this cub eating grass, it is said that cats eat grass when they have some digesting problem. Any comments on it from experts?

The way the cubs leaves us was happens to another episode we witnessed. All of them left us almost at the same time, when it was becoming dark.

I have almost done posting tiger pictures. Now I left with few more pictures other wildlife creatures.

Cheers!

I like the tiger-in-dusk pic very much: don't worry about the lack of light in it!

Yes, domestic cats need to eat grass sometimes, and seem to regularly vomit it, with a thin mucous, afterwards. I can't explain why though.

Thank you very much Hrishikesh and everybody else. Todaba was indeed a dreamland in the moonsoons and we have been exceptionally lucky to get Poster quality photographs of the wild animals there.

Thanks to this wonderful forum we have been able to deliver the live action to our readers desktops almost instantaneously as it happened in front of our eyes on the field.

My special thanks to Hriday and Projjal for making this possible.

Reopening this thread. There has been Tiger deaths in Tadoba.

Back after a long sojourn.I was extensively travelling in Pench in the last few months&hence could not update on the Tadoba news.

There have indeed been some Tiger deaths & 1 of the 4 cubs whom we had extensively photographed in the rains is missing.

I visited Tadoba last weekend after 4months&was lucky to encounter the Telia tigress whom I had seen with 2 cubs at the end of rains.Did not see the cubs last sunday but I hear that they are doing well.

More news & pics soon.

sad to hear. Was the death natural or due to poaching?

A sad end to a most wonderful and exciting photo journey of the Tigers in the Wild. For the Tigers that survive here's wishing them the very best. May your tribe increase.

Whatever the reason, this shows what a backward country we are.
We are unable to protect our own treasures.

Prima facie, it looks as if circuit and his brother were poisoned as there was no mark on their bodies and they were found dead in a pool of water. Villagers many-a-times poison water pools with urea and they could be a victim of that. Whatever is the reason, we will never come to know of it as the department is working overtime to suppress the facts.

Whatever I come to know , I will post here and keep all of you updated .

These are sad times.

damn , damn its such a pity escpecially so when its the new generation which is taking the hit ...its truly sad , abheek , what is the reason for the department to supress the facts ... ideally things should be out in the open , cant an RTI work , i maybe be stupid , but unless someone acts its gonna recurr again ,

Re: Nobody can assure you a Tiger, and thats the fun of it - Team BHP meet at Tadoba

That is so sad. As I said in my Pench travelogue taking into picture of those thirsty deer family, 'nature still works on simple theory of survival of the fittest'. Sadly we, as humans have manupulated nature itself for our selfishness and emerged as the Fittest one in the pyramid. But nature gave us super intelligence to take proper care of nature's treasure and then we turned out to be too selfish.

About the mammals eating grass; it helps them for digestion (works like hajmola) due to the fibers in it.

PS: by the way doc, I just adopted a stray puppy yesterday night. a cute one. will send you the pic.
