I must say that beat looks really clean. Also I will look into Tiara alloys too. I have heard that lenso/ momos do have a lot of copies floating around the mod shops. It seems I have to do a little bit more research into them and then make a decision. I will give you an update with however this works out.

If budget is not a problem then maybe you should look into either original lenso or Momo as they aren’t very expensive but offer superior quality rims as compared to GTR Pro.

I will definitely look into this. From many reviews and posts I’ve read recently people seem to be saying the same thing that if a one has a lenso or momo budget it would be a better buy and be better than the cheaper copies.

Beautiful looking alloys. I noticed you are from Pune, can you please share the details of the shop from where you procured the alloys from?

Re: The official alloy wheel show-off thread. Lets see your rims!

Hi folks, looking to upgrade my 16 inch alloy wheels on my new xuv 300. Need 17 inch wheels with 112 pcd and 5/10 holes. Apparently, Neo or Plati do not manufacture with this configuration. Can anyone please suggest where can I get such wheels in Mumbai or Thane by other manufacturers?
Thanks in advance.

Re: The official alloy wheel show-off thread. Lets see your rims!

Does anyone have an idea of how reliable or known this Infinity brand of wheels are (first image for reference)?
They look quite similar to the Lenso Jager Dyna in the second image, but are available at quite a lower rate. The latter is what brings out part of my concern.

I'm also open to the GTR Pro wheels based on the feedback of the brand:

Re: The official alloy wheel show-off thread. Lets see your rims!

Finally I get to post my own alloys in this group. And it's more sweet because a lot of hard work has gone into it. I have always wanted a set of alloys for my Indica, but it's never happened. I came dangerously close to getting one in 2010 when bhpian Nikhil offered me a sweet deal on some aura alloys. I was about to seal the deal when fate took my life in a different direction, and I had to focus on other things.

For a while the lack of alloys hadn't bothered me, but Recently after seeing alloys on virtually every car, I felt I wanted to close the gap. There were a lot of Chinese and old figo/ikon/fiesta alloys available, but I wanted the original Indica turbo style wheels -

Got lucky to see a set of 5 posted on FB classifieds. The alloys as posted on FB classifieds

Went there to check it out, This was a 1 hour drive from my home. An indigo GLX was getting scrapped, and these were the wheels on that car. I had the wheels checked on an wheel balancing machine for bends - there were none. was also worried that they may not hold air, but they were already running tubeless tires with tubeless nozzles attached
after a wash. The rims were too damaged, but these are very well made Hindalco/Aura alloys - much better than the Chinese stuff you get today. Decided to get them redone

Yes they look very generic and silver - I could have had them done in any colour, but I wanted the stock look, so here we are !

Hi,

I've been using 16" alloys of Infinity brand in my Elite i20 for the last three years, and haven't faced any issues in city driving which includes everything from speed breakers, broken roads & potholes etc.

If your budget allows I'll suggest you get Lenso Wheels as it's a reputable International brand that should have a better quality than Infinity Wheels.

I would advise springing for the Lensos. Avoid the replicas especially GTR-Pro and the like.

If it does not fit your budget, avoid changing the wheels altogether and stick to stock. Far better quality than GTR Pro and similar wheels.

Re: The official alloy wheel show-off thread. Lets see your rims!

Early this year I had got a preowned 2013 Wagon R Vxi from Spinny for my city runs. I have a habit of getting alloys for my cars, hence the Wagon R had to get one. Scouted most of the shops in Pune, did manage to see couple of designs from Plati which i liked, but had to pass since the alloys were 6.5j which was too much for my liking. Finally settled for Minda Konsai 14 inch from Tyresnmore. The alloys took close to 5 days to arrive from Bengaluru. Went for Minda Konsais (MKA) since Minda is an OE supplier and the alloys were 5.5j, hence no issues of tyres touching the wheel arch.
The guys from Tyresnmore were very professional and did an excellent job at the comfort of my home.

Re: The official alloy wheel show-off thread. Lets see your rims!

Folks - I had got momo massimo 16inch alloys for my Linea Tjet sometime back. While they look great it’s becoming a pain to maintain the car as they protrude outside and spray lot of mud on the sides. Guess I need to change to wider mudflaps.. anyone else experienced this issue and any mudflap suggestions for this?

Thank you!
Yes, the grip has increased significantly as they were upgraded from 185/60/R15 to 195/55/R16.

Re: The official alloy wheel show-off thread. Lets see your rims!

I hope this is the right thread.

Birthday gift for my Glanza, 2022 model. S AMT, which come with wheel covers and were very boring to look.
Got them spray painted to my taste and they look fab. Paid 1.5k to FNG for it.
