A quick short report on ES100

I started huting for another set of tyres for my sienna after having used Potenza's for 17K kms . My (car's tyre ) earlier size was 175 65 R14 and I decided to go in for 195 so accordingly chose 60 profile so that overall dia remains more or less the same .
Final contenders were
1.Michelin Pilot Preceda
2.Yokohama ES100.

My needs were.
1.Good grip both in wet and dry.
2.Good comfort
3.Good looks (shame on myself !)
Am willing to tolerate a bit of tyre rolling noise.

So for the question " Have i chose the right tyre ?" The answer is partly yes (partly no ofcourse )coz after driving for short while I found the car to be a bit more unsettling when driven over rough patches at high speeds . Rolling noise is high. Not too comfortable either but after driving the car a bit hard on a certain stretch I was willing to forgive Yoko's for all her shortcoming coz the grip is quite outstanding.
Will post a pic of it soon

ES100 is not a comfort tyre,in that case michelin would be your best option(Ishan you should treat me for this).

The nice thing about the Pilot Preceda 2 is that even though the grip in both wet/dry is comparable or better than the yokos (not considering neovas here which are better compared to the pilot sports), they are not uncomfortable in ride quality, nor do they create the racket that most other performance tyres do at high speeds. If you can afford the PP2, don't even look twice at anything else.
