Suggestion/Solutions 98 PCD Alloy wheels for FIAT(Palio, Adventure)

Hi,
I thought it was better to bump this thread than create a new one for my query.
I am looking to buy a new car to replace our 2002 Palio. The Palio will become my project car with extensive modifications planned for both the interior and exterior.
I was looking to buy alloy wheels for the planned project but the ones I really like are not available in 98 PCD. Can the wheel hubs be modified to work with some other PCD wheels. Also if I do go this way, what would be the best PCD value to modify the hubs for. I would ideally want 17" wheels but might settle for 16 inchers. The project car will only really be driven in the city and that too not on a regular basis so comfort is not something on my mind right now.
