I think Michelin's are the best wet tyres I have used till now.

I earlier used to have JK Tube Tyres and even they are very good.

I think the people who have driven the evil twins can comment better about Maxxis.

I know of 4 distinguished people who drove those twins from Delhi to Mumbai and they had only wonderful things to say about these tyres.

so how much do these maxxis tires cost compared to the other brands.lets for eg:,take a 15" tire.the yokohama s-drives cost around 4600 per piece.
though looking at the reviews, they are pretty good.australians are putting these tires on their falcons and commodores.thats saying something.

The tyres compared are the Bridgestone Potenza Pole Position series, which are rather good tyres. What we get in India are the G-IIIs, which are not.

17" Maxxis tyres go in Delhi for 4500. That's a very good price for a 17" tyre.

I am using Maxxis 205/55/15 on my Lancer & have every reason to say that they are GOOD VFM. Very good traction, handling, low tyre noise, visually pleasing pattern excellent wet weather handling / behaviour. What more can one say ???? I would have happily used them on my Octavia as well but the size (225/45/17) was not available so I settled for YOKOHAMA ES 100's

Cheers

Really? When I bought them, the dealer was quoting Rs 3500 for Michelin XM1 175/70 R14 and Rs 4400 for XM1s in 195/65 R14.
