I would choose Michelin over Maxxis anyday (reasons have been mentioned clearly in another thread on the Tyre section).

Why are u avoiding the yokos?

Yokohama don't offer warranty so that's the reason i'm avoiding & size is a problem too .

I'll skip maxxis as suggested by our "Typre expert Iraghava" .

yokohama is officially in india. i see no reason why you shouldnt get a warranty on them.

BTW unknown which place on earth do u stay in?:p

I've finalised on michelin mxv-8(Rs.5800) , which size should suit the car 205/65 or 205/55 ? any idea about s-drive cost ?
What's the diff between s-drive & a300 ?

S drive is a performance tyre whereas the A300 will provide superior ride quality and minimum road noise.

205/65 R15 is the correct upsize Jay. S-Drives are not available in any correct upsizes for the Civic.

As for the difference between the S-Drive's & A300's, the basic difference is like KP said, S is biased towards performance while the A300's are comfort biased tyres.

yokohama es-100 is available in 205/65/15 size ?

Yokohama AVS dB & C drive also come in that size but i don't think they are available officially. So may have to get them from grey market.
