I checked the tyre pressures and one was at 34psi. Reduced that to 31 and the noise is better. May be worth a try?
I have a problem with the seatbelt indicator not working and the audio alarms for low fuel etc not sounding. They checked that all is working and it may need some computer coding to switch them on.

Yokohama A430 is not officially available in India.
one question that comes to my mind,the laura has an onboard tyre pressure monitoring system.wont the change in tire size,width etc cause errors in the readings.just curious.

The ryre sensor has to "be set" when the tyre pressure is set. I bought it used and maybe it was not set by the previous owner AND thanks for reminding me, I forgot to set it to after checking all the tyres.
Correction from a source, Yoko A348's are standard on the Camry & are officially available in India in 215/60 r16.

Doc, there is a Tyre shop on CMH road just opposite to Casa Picola and they do stock michelins (I got mine from them). And that guy was telling that he can even source Yoko's also.

Well the STOCK tyres are 205/55 R16 BRIDGESTONE TURANZAs . So i want suggestions on which Tyres to buy on the basis of a good combi of ride quality , performance , tread pattern.
(Already have Potenza g-IIIs in my corolla so wouldnt want the same)
And yes can i upsize it to 215/55 ? or even better 215/60 ? or 205/60 ?

215/55 would be better. 215/60 is a no no.
Firstly Bridgestones are quite prone to side wall bubbles.
Anyways 205/60 and 215/60 are the absolutely wrong upsize for the Laura, a better upsize would be 215/55 or 225/50 or 235/50.
Tyres i would suggest the Michelin Energy XM1's for comfort and PP2 for performance.
Rest about which tyre is available in which size is best left to be told by the Tyre Dealer from Delhi, mind you there are Bangy tyre dealers too on the forum and one in Faridabad as well :p

How did you find the performance of "Turanza's"? I have them on my OHC and till now no complaints.
btw have seen Accords also come with Turanza's...

How about EAGLE F1s ? I am really desperate to get that tread pattern in . Just worried about the life of that kind of a tyre.

Had faced a similar side wall air bubble @ 4k kms mark , but got it changed for free as it was under warranty @ skoda ... otherwise no complaints. The tyres are really grippy even under hardcore cornering conditions.
