Hello Sujit,

Congrats!!!
Nice writeup and photos.

For the side pulling, you can get your front struts checked up. I had a similar problem in my Swift. I got it resolved recently. If the problem still remains even after changing the front struts, get your suspension arms checked up.

Hope this help.

Have you thought upgrading to magwheels? The driveability will be good.

Thanks!
I will be giving the car to MASS next week for complete checkup (also need to replace brake pads). That time i will get the front struts checked up. Also, planning to put Mobil1.

I would love to upgrade to mag wheels, but I wont be doing that anytime soon.

Update on FE after upgrading to the Michelin's:

approx 18 Km/lit (wo A/C, 65% highway conditions, 35% city)

Not much difference in FE, earlier also I used to get similar figures.

Guys, about a month back I got the tyres of my Zen replaced with Michelin XM1+. The M factor limited me to retaining the old rims but now have a funny problem! I keep losing tyre pressure on one of the wheels from about 30 PSI to 17-18 PSI in a day. Got it checked for punctures but the guy says the tyres are good. He's changed the valve once but that doesn't seem to have made any difference
help

Upgrade for Zen LXi

Hiie Guys,

I am new to this forum..

I have a Pearl Silver 2004 Zen LXi..
On which i have Black Machined 12" HR Alloys..
The stock size for zen tire is 145/80/12, however, I have upgraded to 155/70/12 GoodYear..I felt it was a pathetic tire, after 35k (inclusive of regular wheel balancing, alignment) tires are almost finished..

I am planning to get new tires for my ride...

I liked the Hankook 165/60/12 (with my fav white lettered side walls) but the tire is too soft for Indian (Delhi) Roads....

I saw Yokohama 165/60/12, i wud get those for 2200 per tire. Dunno how will they perform, need suggestions from you guys..

(These Yokos are made in Japan)...

Posting pic of Yoko

Whatever you do, the setup should not vibrate at high speeds. There might be great tyres in the market but be careful while choosing the tyres.

@prince: I will reply to you according to your answers bro:
1. Thanks.
2. good2know that because its a v good car
3. This is what I wanna know, if these tiers would be good for my ride.
actually I dont wanna go for tire size upgrade, and instead of going 155/70/12, I wanted a broad tire with good grip, which only comes out to be 165/60/12..

Need serious suggestions guys..Next month I am going to Nainital in my ride..
around 700kms return trip, so before that I want new shoes for me ride..

and the most important thing I forgot to ask is:
increasing tire size affects the "stop time" or braking time, what ever it is called?
