My RS has them. They come with a key.. The joke is that if you really wanna take someone for a ride, flick the key from the tool kit. Some day, when he has a flat , he's in for big trouble...

All my wheel lugs are opened by an allen key, as I'm sure most alloys are. Hence, having an allen key won't really be much of a deterrent, considering that they're commonly available.

A company in the US, McGard makes the best security lug nuts, I believe. They can only be opened by a McGuard bit.

Very nice pics of filthy wheels, elf. Are these McGard lug nuts available in India? The only caveat I see is if you're stranded without those custom bits.

Maggie, I don't know if these McLug Gard nuts are available in India.
I'm not a tyre dealer.

Ask Ishan, maybe he knows.

And those ain't wheels, they're brake drum exteriors, you gaon-wallah.
Khudaah! Yeh dehaati log ko akkal kabhi aayega?

Wheel Locking Nuts in Bangalore

Hi,

Any idea where to get Wheel Locking Nuts for alloys in Bangalore?
How much do they cost?

I tried Sprocket, Prodrive and LoAutoX. They don't have them.

Thanks in advance.

if you are looking for steel nuts for alloys, u can find it in J C Raod. for my safari it costed around 1500, donno whether i paid a lot for them, but it goes well with the alloys.

Thanks Babureddy for the info.

How many locking nuts did you get for 1500? As someone had mentioned earlier do i need just ONE per wheel? That would make a set of 5 including the sparewheel.

Don't understand why that's a problem There many more shops than those two.
Check out shops in central Bangalore. Two of them are in front of Lifestyle. Hot Tracks in Residency road. Few of them in Mission road and plenty of them in J C Road.

I know of a tuner who has stock of some colored wheel locking nuts (from the us). Could help you get them.
