Alloy wheels for i20

i have placed an order for the new 6 speed i20 magna crdi. super car, but it doesnt have alloy wheels. i want them put as soon as the car arrives. better i decide now only. i seriously need your help guys! please suggest good alloys. tyre size - 175/70 R14. i could upgrade tyre size if its not too expensive. please suggest something gurus

For Alloys you've ample options like Lenso, Konig, HR(HRS) etc., available widely in New Delhi. You can also upgrade the tyres to 185/65 R14, the stock size on Asta variant and you can get a good buyback if you get it exchanged immediately.

Check www.alloywheelsindia.com or www.saimagwheels.com for entire range of HR (HRS) alloys.

hi, i am in dire need of the Lenso's D1R 15" in white with red lip. I contacted Just wheels, but they dont have it in stock and are not sure when would they get one. My i20 should be coming by next week end. So, If anyone can help me to procure one or know any other Lenso dealers in and around delhi, it'll be of great help.

Slayer, please get in touch with the importers in Mumbai. Check the Lenso thread for their contact details or call up Jitesh at BK Tyres, I think he should be able to arrange them from Mumbai.

friends,
i just got my crdi 1.4 magna fitted with PLATI 14 inchers on stock tyres(apolo acceleres).Wanted to go to Karol Bagh for more choices etc but didn't find time + as indicated in some fora here i was getting a good price so went for it (in Ghaziabad at Tyre Zone..)
Posting the pics now..
Guess the price ? ---- 10 k for 4 (after exchange including plastic wheel covers).

by the way, in pic no.6 , the greenish edge is a photo color distortion ,,,, nothing wrong with the rim( i checked ).!!! will post more pics soon ...

Thats a nice set of rims there. Buy some wheel cleaning compound for both tyres and rims. Its will help you to maintain the same beautifully.

Lolz - was about to write about that

. The white-ish color of the alloys suits the color of the car very well indeed. Plati are coming up with better designs lately. Sorry if I missed this - but have you upsized to 15"ers with the new alloys too ?.

nope cc i went with the standard 14" on stock tyres ..
these are my first alloys ever ! so didn't need too much adventure (and expense , and too low WAF!!)

(WAF == wife acceptance factor !!)

hi folks,

I've booked for an i20 Magna - crystal white. Am upgrading from a 5 yr old Santro! I'm scheduled to get delivery in a week and am most excited!!

I went through some of the threads here and at the cost of sounding repetitive, can someone help with the name/phone of one of the better dealers for after market alloys in Bangalore.

I plan on sticking with the stock 175/70 R14 tyres (Accelere). And looking only to update the stock rims to some nice alloy rims.

I had a few friends who bough new cars last year and went to one of the shops on JC road to buy alloys, HUs, compos and got ripped off. So I'm assuming when you go to the shop with a reference, then chance of being ripped off are lower...?

Also was wondering whats the popular vote here on forum with the choice of alloys for a white i20?
- matt finish
- glossy polished finish
- white alloys (usually seen them as matt finish)
- white alloys with a blue lip
- machined black alloys

Looking forward to some comments please. Thank you.
