Oh no, look at those poor poor babies.. You're right Shyam, such explicit content should be given a PG rating. Not for our tender and impressionable minds.
Off topic, I wish I was a scrapmonger in those parts. Life would've been good.. sigh.

I had to go to the Cubbon Park police station on Kasturba Road to meet a passport verification officer. What I saw there would bring tears to Stanher's eyes
Two Heralds, rotting away next to the station. I first spotted the worse of the two Heralds, but decided against pulling out my camera. Was about to put my bike into gear and shove off, when I spotted the other Herald, in better condition. Both cars dont have any regn, looks like they were prepped for paint, and then abandoned. Shyam, could these be your friend's Heralds? But I think, if the cops chose to seize them, would have gone to Wilson Gardens police station. These cars have been seized from Cubbon PArk police station limits/jurisdiction. I am thinking of a good way to get photos without getting in trouble. I am wary of the local cops, they always get dollar signs in their eyes when they see guys like me. I once got in trouble for leaning against the parapet wall of a police station, can you beat that? The cop abused me in foul language. Anyone else, you can try your luck at getting pics, if you're more daring than me . This is the Cubbon Park police station on Kasturba Road. Also saw a modded Padmini lying on it's side, and some other assorted junk I could not identify.

Sid, happy and also sad to hear the news- can you tell me the colours of the Heralds you saw??
Were they one bluish-green mk1 and a white mk2 respectively??

My friend also had a Gazel. 'had once sent you pics. of all 3 cars I think, so you should be able to tell on looking at those to compare.

I've seen this one, in a building near Mount Mary's steps. No, he won't sell.

This car is a deluxe though, note the signs of the double-pattis and the bumperguards. I suspect the grille was just wrongly fitted, could happen in other countries too (this is in Switzerland)
It has the fiat badge of the SS though.

Sadly these cars would have been totally wiped out or fallen to bits by now- these pics. date from the 80s atleast!

This car has been standing there for donkeys years now. The owner refuses to sell and is willing to have it go down to the ground then give it away.

Stanher.

That Buick Super Eight Custom I spoke off in Marredpally is a completely original low mileage car. Its the only Custom I ever saw and the only Buick Super Eight I ever saw with a twin carb setup.

Do try to get to see it and photograph the Carbs.

And come to think of it that Austin you posted was a 10 Sedan.
