Raghu Palat has described the coronation of the Cochin Maharaja in 1914 in his book about Parukutty Nethyaramma. He mentions that the Maharaja left for the coronation from Hill Palace in a ‘black lanchester’ must’ve been one of the first few cars in Cochin. Any info on Cochin Lanchester?

A correction after many years. This is Maharaja Jiwaji Rao Scindia of Gwalior, not Bikaner as I had originally stated.

Foby, scant info on any Cochin cars :(
