Sorry to interrupt just to contribute my tuppence may I suggest a two tone colour? White and dark blue (with the dark blue on the centre front.) The bobby looks great with red.

Thanks Caddy for your comments, I was thinking of two tone colour, Blue and white, Red and white or maroon and white.

The bobby is getting repainted in red color only.

Thanks again
Cheers

Friends,

One of my School teacher gave me his 1982 Lamby 150.
He was thinking of disposing it, but he thought it would add one more to my family so gave it for free.

Cheers
Girish

Nice collection you have got there and the bobby rajdoot was once owned by my dad but eventually been disposed off and my only memories of it being sitting in the pillion (maybe i was 7 or 8 years) while my brother used to drive out that baby.

Somehow, Vespas did not come with two tone. There is a good British Mag on scooters called 'Scootering' . You can pick a few up. if you dont get new ones, even back issues would do. You can see some fantastic colour schemes in scooters featured in this magazine.

I've seen Vespas with two-tone, but IMHO, two-tone looks way better on Lambrettas. Vespas look good with a single, sober shade. Girish, the Lamby 150 looks like it's in great shape. Are you planning to restore it? If so, give us some details, please! I have started a thread to document the restoration of my 1970 Lambretta, and I hope Stanher gives us some info on his 1960 restoration project too! The thread: http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/motorb...intenance.html

Hi Sidman,

Thanks for the reply, OK as all of you said single shade on Vespa will look good, I may go for single shade only.
Lamby 150, yes very soon I want to restore it, I will definitely post some more photo's of the both restoration.

Cheers
Girish

Friends,

One of my friend mechanic found this in scrap yard and took it and made it running, claims to be TVS 35cc moped.
Any idea of this moped ? when produced and what specifications ?

Thanks
Girish

Girish that Lamby looks very nice and original. Congrats.

Rearding the Vespa, I would paint it in single colour, I doubt that two tone was ever offered, at least on this model.

I don't think its a TVS, It looks like a Mofa to me, could even be a Luna.

Mofa was a little too basic. almost like a bicycle with a motor. I'm sure its a TVS.
