Some lovely cars in 'Duniya Na Mane'

A Hudson with accessory trims and fin tails grafted on, along with a Continental spare kit - I have seen 2 similar cars junking, both WB registered. Wonder if this was one of them.

In this scene actor Sheikh Mukhtar plays a car dealer, and is being asked if he has any Cadillac or Duesenberg Super Charged Sports for sale

At the time we can assume Sheikh Mukhtar owned both of them.

Very interesting local cars seen in 'Nalayak'

A pair of custom built Fiat station wagons - both seem to be the same design, using the original curved rear windscreen. Wonder who built these.




A Herald with a modified front and rear end - I think these were built in Bangalore with fibre parts.

I've noticed in most black and white movies a leading car is almost always white (or a very light colour, can't say). Perhaps something to do with reflection of light in those days?

Found a Dev Anand English movie named 'The Evil Within' that seems to be shot in Rajasthan. Besides a regular 1960s Chevy Tourist Taxi, there is also a very sporty looking Austin Seven - any insight from the experts?
