I am told this one is a 560SEL variant with the 5.5 litre V8 under the hood. However, there was no badge on the car, neither are the details updated in the parivahan website so I am not 100% sure about the exact variant.

Hi all, I am finalising a purchase of a W123 in Hyderabad. According to the owner, the car is mechanically sound as it just completed the mandatory testing at the RTO. Interiors and exteriors needs a bit of a work.

Can someone recomment a mechanic who is good with W123s in Hyderabad so that he can make an assessment before I buy the car?

IIRC you're right. Turbos only came in LHD I believe.
Nice looking car nonetheless.
