Beautiful old Mercedes 190 in Ooty.
Still in running condition. It is kept on display at one of the owner’s properties and he drives it now and then.

Here is something I could not take my eyes off when we were on a morning breakfast run today.
Its such a lovely classic with such a beautiful square solid stance. A well maintained example too.

Here is a gorgeous 280 S.
It is for sale at that Dealer - the Petrol pump near Cubbon Park which has always had ‘Foreign Cars’ for sale. I saw it yesterday with a friend and overall it looks good but does need a good amount of work. Hood ornament is missing as is the petrol tank cap. Interiors need a complete restoration and tinkering works is required around the base of the front and rear windshields and bonnet leading edge etc because there is paint bubbling.
No idea what the asking price is, because that Manager wasn’t in when we went there.
But it is a real beauty. The gauge of metal used feels like a WW2 Tank. And all the chrome bits are real, they haven’t deteriorated in 40 plus years!
Mercedes-Benz made such brilliant, over-engineered cars in those days!

I think this is one of Vijay Mallya's old cars, which now has a diesel engine in it

As per MVD records it has a petrol engine and is a 1974 model which was registered in Bangalore in 1997. Dont know whether it was a Mallya car
