I was told by one dealer(Capital Honda) in Chennai that the Civic is no longer available in Habanero Red. Now I know how authentic the information is/was.

Here there was a display car in Habenero red color V MT in the showroom. So they cannot say it is discontinued. They did however mention that the blue color City is discontinued, but they re-introduced the City E model. Apparently they also see some slight revival of demand for Jazz, since they started offering discounts/free insurance etc.

Dear friends booked my beat LT option pack with Pashankar auto on 12th in Pune. They are committing a delivery of march end or april 1st week. Also the ex showroom price quoted is 454659 whereas in the website its Rs 444000. Why are they charging 10K extra? Pls help.

Finally my membership got approved and here I am, joining you guys to review the Beat.
After going through the awesome review posted by GTO (thanks for that) I couldn't resist to test drive. I test drove the beat twice at Kropex and Sundaram in Bangalore and kept all the points being discussed here. Both the time, it was LS models, so couldn't fiddle much with the dashboard. At the same time, the Engine sounded differently and to my surprise it was quite noisy, esp. at 3500 RPM on all the Gears. Maybe because it was a demo car....rest everything in sync with the GTO's review.

Finally booked a white LT on 26th Jan and now awaiting the delivery, estimated to happen anytime by Feb end.

Also, all the people who have booked the new Beat, try and get the invoice done as the cost will increase after the Budget (Feb end), it could be a rumor but nobody want to take a chance, thats what my dealer said. Good luck and will keep you all posted!!

Invoicing cannot be done without the vehicle arriving in the showroom or atleast in transit from factory to dealerships because you require the vehicle identification number/chassis number for invoicing.
