2017 Honda City ZX spotted at dealer stockyard in India

The 2017 Honda City facelift has been spotted at a dealer stockyard in India, pointing towards a nearing launch. The car was recently unveiled in Thailand and is expected to be launched in India in the next few weeks.

The spotted model is the top-end ZX trim, which is expected to come with features like automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers, full LED headlamps & taillights and a 7-inch infotainment system that supports Android Auto and voice recognition. It will also be equipped with new 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels.

The spotted model is probably the CVT variant as it gets paddle shifters behind the steering wheel. Other features revealed through the images include start/stop button, automatic climate control and electronic sunroof.

The City facelift gets majority of its design changes at the front, as it features a redesigned bumper, a wider grille with a prominent chrome bar in the middle and redesigned headlamps. The rear gets a subtle bootlid-mounted spoiler, new taillights and a tweaked rear bumper. The interiors carry forward the same dashboard layout of the current model.

No mechanical changes have been made to the updated model as it will continue to be powered by 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines.
