2018 Honda Aviator launched at Rs. 55,157

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the 2018 Aviator priced at Rs. 55,157 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It comes in three variants - standard, alloy drum and alloy disc.

The new Aviator is based on an Under Bone type chassis. It measures 1,802 mm in length, 703 mm in width and 1,162 mm in height. Its wheelbase is 1,256 mm and the seat height is 790 mm. The scooter weighs 106 kg (kerb weight) and comes with a 6-litre fuel tank.

The 2018 Aviator gets an LED headlamp with position lamp, 4-in-1 lock with seat opener switch and metal muffler protector. It also comes equipped with front and rear retractable hooks. The scooter rides on telescopic front suspension and a spring loaded hydraulic shock absorber at the rear. It comes fitted with 12-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels.

The 2018 Aviator is powered by a 109.19 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 8 BHP @ 7,000 rpm and 8.94 Nm of torque @ 5,500 rpm. It comes with 130 mm drum brakes as standard, while a 190 mm front disc brake is available as an option.

The 2018 Aviator is available in 4 colour options - Pearl Spartan Red, Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Selene Silver Metallic and Pearl Amazing White.
