2018 KTM RC390 spotted in India

The 2018 KTM RC390 has been spied in India. While it looks similar to the current model, it is likely to come with minor updates.

The spy images suggest that KTM has carried over the familiar orange, white and black paint theme to the 2018 RC390. The graphics appear identical to the 2017 model and so does the fairing. However, the orange painted alloy wheels appear to be shod with non-stock tyres.

The KTM RC390 uses upside-down fork front suspension with clip-on handle bars and a monoshock rear suspension. It is equipped with twin-projector headlights, a digital instrument cluster and ABS.

It is unlikely that KTM will make any major mechanical changes to the 2018 RC390. Under the bodywork, it is expected to use the same 373.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine as the current model. In its current state of tune, the engine produces 43 BHP and 36 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch and features ride-by-wire technology.
