2021 Kia Carnival to get new Limousine trim

The updated Carnival is expected to be launched in September 2021.

Having launched the updated Seltos and Sonet, Kia is now gearing up to introduce the 2021 Carnival in India. Besides featuring the new brand logo, the MPV is likely to get a new variant as well.

According to a leaked document, the Carnival will be offered in a new Limousine trim, while the existing one will be named Limousine Plus.

The new Limousine trim will be positioned between the Prestige 7-seater and Limousine Plus. It will be equipped with leather VIP seats, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with UVO connect and ECM mirror, an air purifier and a rear-seat entertainment system.

The Limousine Plus variant will get new alloy wheels and leather VIP seats, while the Prestige 7-seater variant will gain leatherette seats.

The Kia Carnival is powered by a 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine. It produces 197 BHP @ 3,800 rpm and 440 Nm @ 1,500-2,750 rpm. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The updated Carnival is expected to be launched in the month of September 2021.
