2022 Aprilia SR 125 & SR 160 launched at Rs 1.08 lakh

Both models come with new features such as a V-shaped LED headlight, a fully digital instrument cluster (borrowed from the Aprilia SXR 160) and redesigned taillamp.

Aprilia has launched the 2022 SR 125 and SR 160 scooters in India. The former is priced at Rs 1.08 lakh while the latter retails at Rs 1.17 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune).

Both models come with new elements such as a V-shaped LED headlight, a new pillion grab rail, split seats and a redesigned taillamp. Aprilia has also tweaked the front apron for a sportier styling. The new fully digital instrument cluster (borrowed from the Aprilia SXR 160) features a tachometer, average speed display, 2 trip meters, mileage indicator, clock and more.

The 2022 Aprilia SR 125 is powered by a 124.45cc, single-cylinder, 3-valve engine that makes 9.78 BHP and 9.70 Nm. On the other hand, the SR 160 uses a 160.03cc engine that is capable of producing 10.86 BHP and 11.6 Nm.

Some of the other features of the new scooters include telescopic front forks, alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, a 6-litre fuel tank and multiple colour options.
