2022 BSA Gold Star officially revealed

It is being speculated that the 2022 BSA Gold Star could be powered by a newly-developed 650cc, liquid-cooled engine.

BSA Motorcycles has showcased the 2022 Gold Star at a special event that was held in Birmingham, UK. The exact details of the motorcycle will be announced at the Motorcycle Live Show, on December 4, 2021.

The 2022 BSA Gold Star has retro-modern styling. It features a round headlamp, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a single-piece seat and a dual-pod instrument cluster. The motorcycle uses wire-spoke wheels, conventional telescopic front forks, and dual shock absorbers at the back.

Some of the other features of the 2022 BSA Gold Star includes a single exhaust, circular rearview mirrors, and disc brakes. The motorcycle will be available in multiple colour options.

While the official specs have not been released yet, it is being speculated that the 2022 BSA Gold Star could be powered by a newly-developed 650cc, liquid-cooled engine featuring a DOHC setup. BSA Motorcycles is also expected to offer a bunch of optional accessories such as bar-end mirrors, saddlebags, fly screens, etc.

Birmingham Small Arms (BSA) was founded in 1861 as a manufacturer of guns. It later started building bicycles and motorcycles. Unfortunately, it went bankrupt in the 1970s. In 2016, the company was acquired by Classic Legends, a subsidiary of Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. for Rs. 28 crore.
