2023 Rolls Royce Spectre EV spied for the first time

Rolls Royce is yet to announce the details of the electric powertrain on the Spectre EV.

Rolls Royce announced that its first fully-electric offering, the Spectre, will be unveiled sometime in 2023. Now, the all-electric luxury model has been spied for the first time, ahead of its global unveiling.

The EV features a unique camouflage livery, covering a Wraith-style two-door silhouette. However, the spy shots do reveal a few details, which could make it onto the final iteration. These include the split-headlamps flanking the signature Rolls Royce front grille. The lower part of the bumper also reveals large air intakes with the sensors for the ADAS system in the centre.

Other details include a more pronounced shoulder line, rear-hinged doors, LED tail lights, integrated rear spoiler and extended rear bumper housing the diffuser.

While the upcoming electric sedan is an all-new model, it will use the same aluminium spaceframe as the Ghost, Cullinan and the Phantom. The architecture has been modified to fit an electric powertrain.
