2023 Yamaha R15 leaked; gets colour TFT instrument console

The 2023 Yamaha R15 is expected to be launched in India soon.

Yamaha is gearing up to launch the 2023 edition of the R15 in India. Leaked images have revealed some of the new updates offered on the bike.

One of the biggest changes on the R15 is the addition of a colour TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity. The bike also gets LED turn indicators and new switchgear.

Besides the new features, the R15 will carry forward the same 155cc engine. It features variable valve actuation and develops 18.3 BHP and 14.1 Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox via a slipper clutch and quick-shifter.

The R15 is equipped with upside-down forks at the front and a mono-shock at the rear. It comes with disc brakes at both ends and safety aids like dual-channel ABS and traction control.
