2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class spied ahead of global unveil

The luxury sedan will come with both 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engine options. A plug-in hybrid powertrain will follow, along with an AMG version.

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class has been spied undergoing testing on a couple of occasions. However, a fresh set of leaked images from China have revealed new details of the upcoming luxury sedan ahead of its global debut.

The leaked images reveal the front end of the upcoming 2024 E-Class. The luxury sedan seems to have borrowed design cues from its larger flagship sibling, the S-Class and has a large chrome hexagonal grille flanked on either side by updated LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs.

Images also showcase the dashboard of the new E-Class sedan. The dashboard unit has a large rectangular touchscreen infotainment screen in the centre instead of the portrait-style display on the S-Class. There is also a rectangular digital instrument cluster & thin AC vents stretching across the dashboard.

The exterior side and rear profiles are yet to be unveiled. However, reports suggest that these will also get heavy upgrades to help differentiate from the current model.

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is expected to be unveiled sometime in late 2023. The luxury sedan will come with both 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engine options. A plug-in hybrid powertrain will follow, along with an AMG version in the form of the E53 E-Performance with 671 BHP & 750 Nm.
