TVS has launched the heavily updated Apache RR 310. The bike will be available in two variants priced from Rs 2.75 lakh (ex-showroom).
The 2024 TVS Apache RR 310 carries forward the same design, except for a few changes. The fully-faired bike now has aerodynamic winglets that are said to generate 3 kgs of downforce. The other update is the transparent clutch cover.
TVS has tweaked the 312.2cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. It now features a 13% larger airbox, a larger throttle body, a 10% lighter forged piston and increased volumetric efficiency. The result is that the engine now produces 37.5 BHP @ 9,800 rpm and 29 Nm @ 7,900 rpm.
The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox via a bi-directional quick-shifter. It has four riding modes – Track, Sport, Urban and Rain. TVS claims that the new Apache RR 310 is 0.5 seconds quicker to 100 km/h than the previous model.
The Apache RR 310 comes with a 5-inch digital instrument console offering Bluetooth connectivity. The bike also gets cruise control, TPMS and RT-DSC (Race Tuned Dynamic Stability Control), which includes cornering ABS, Cornering traction control, Cornering Cruise control, Wheelie Control, Slope Dependent Control and Rear Lift-off Control.
Customers can also get their bikes customized through the ‘Built To Order’ platform. There are two BTO kits on offer – Dynamic and Dynamic Pro. The Dynamic kit includes fully adjustable suspension with preload, compression and rebound damping adjustment on the front suspension and preload + rebound damping on the rear mono-shock. The kit also includes a Tire Pressure Monitoring System and brass-coated drive chain. The new Dynamic Pro kit includes the Race Tuned Dynamic Stability Control.
