4th-gen Hyundai Tucson could be offered with ADAS

ADAS could be one of the safety features offered in the Indian Tucson.

Hyundai has been testing the fourth generation Tucson in India for quite some time. As per the latest spy images, the SUV could be offered with the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS).

The test car that was recently spotted had a radar module mounted on the front bumper, which indicates that ADAS could be one of the safety features offered in the Indian Tucson.

In terms of its design, the SUV features Hyundai's Parametric dynamics philosophy. It comes with half-mirror type daytime running lights integrated into the grille. The rear of the car features a full-width LED light bar with triangular tail lamp clusters. Inside, it gets dual 10.25-inch touchscreens and a digital instrument cluster.

In the international market, the Tucson comes with a range of petrol and diesel engines. These include a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder, direct-injection petrol engine with 187 BHP and 247 Nm and 1.6-litre, turbo-petrol hybrid or plug-in hybrid with 227 BHP and 350 Nm. The diesel range includes 1.6-litre and 2.0-litre oil burners.
