Aston Martin Vantage launched in India at Rs. 2.95 crore

Last year, Aston Martin unveiled the new Vantage with an AMG sourced V8 engine. The British carmaker has now launched the car in India with prices starting at Rs. 2.95 crore.

According to a media report, Infinity Cars would represent the brand in Bangalore and Mumbai. While bookings have commenced, deliveries are expected to take place after 2-4 months. The company expects to sell 15-20 units of the car in India. It will rival cars like the Porsche 911 Turbo, Mercedes AMG GT and the Audi R8 V10.

The new Vantage gets features like e-diff, 20-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps, a flat bottom steering wheel with paddle shifts and a dual tone interior theme.

It shares underpinnings with the DB11's aluminium architecture and is powered by an AMG-sourced twin-turbocharged, 4.0-litre V8 petrol engine that produces 503 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 685 Nm @ 2,000-5,000 rpm. Power is sent to rear wheels via an 8-speed ZF gearbox. It has a claimed top speed of 314 km/h and a 0-100 km/h time of 3.5 seconds.
