Ather 450X and 450 Plus prices hiked by Rs. 5,500

Ather now charges Rs. 5,475 for the Ather Dot portable charger.

Ather Energy has increased the prices of the 450X and 450 Plus electric scooters by Rs. 5,475.

Instead of increasing the prices of the scooters, Ather now charges Rs. 5,475 for the Ather Dot portable charger. Until now, it was being offered for Re. 1.

The Ather 450X and 450 Plus comes equipped with a 2.9 kWh lithium-ion battery and an electric motor with an output of 3.3 kW. The peak output for the 450X and 450 Plus is 6 kW / 26Nm and 5.4 kW / 24 Nm respectively.

The top-spec 450X offers a range of 116 km, while the 450 Plus can cover 100 km on a single charge.

Ather Energy had launched its range of electric scooter at the beginning of 2020. It now competes with the likes of Ola Electric, Bajaj Auto and TVS Motors.
