Audi has announced that the 2021 RS 5 will be launched in India on August 9, 2021.

The RS 5 is a sporty 2-door coupe that competes with the BMW M4 and the Mercedes-AMG C63 coupe. Audi had listed the RS 5 Sportback on its official website, which suggests that the 4-door version is also likely to be launched soon.

The 2021 RS 5 gets a redesigned exterior but it still retains its aggressive look. The car is slightly wider than the outgoing model and rides on 19-inch wheels. On the inside, the RS 5 comes with a new 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a larger touchscreen infotainment system.

The RS 5 is powered by a 2.9-litre, twin-turbo V6 engine producing 444 BHP and 600 Nm. The engine is paired to an 8-speed and an all-wheel-drive system. The 0-100 km/h time is claimed to be 3.9 seconds and the top speed is 250 km/h.
