Auto Expo 2023: MG MIFA 9 electric MPV unveiled

The MG MIFA 9 is a rebadged version of the Maxus G90.

MG Motor India has showcased the MIFA 9 electric MPV at the ongoing Auto Expo 2023.

The MG MIFA 9 is a rebadged version of the Maxus G90. It’s a large MPV that looks similar in proportion to the Toyota Vellfire. The car measures 5,270 mm in length, 2,000 mm in width, and 1,840 mm in height. 

The MIFA 9 features a split headlamp setup with the LED daytime running light stretching across the front fascia. The headlamps are positioned in separate pods on the front bumper, which has a chrome strip accentuating the edges. At the rear, the MIFA 9 gets V-shaped LED taillights with a light bar in the centre. It gets powered sliding rear doors as well. 

Inside, the MPV has an expansive display that stretches across the dashboard. It houses the touchscreen infotainment system and the digital instrument cluster. There's a 2-spoke steering wheel and a large centre arm rest.

Powering the MIFA 9 is a 90 kWh battery pack and an electric motor that makes 241 BHP and 350 Nm. The MPV is said to have a maximum range of 440 km (WLTP cycle).
