Automotive Engineering Show, Chennai: July 7-9, 2015

The ninth edition of the Automotive Engineering Show is scheduled to be held from July 7-9, 2015 at Chennai Trade Centre, Nandanbakkam, Chennai. The opening hours will be from 10 am to 6 pm during these days.

Like the previous edition, this show provides a platform to several exhibitors to showcase their products and technologies to the Indian automobile sectors.

The product groups on display will include:

• Production Equipment - press shop equipment / sheet metal cutting and forming machine tools, welding equipment, jigs and fixtures etc.
• Assembly Line Equipment - in-plant handling systems / floor and overhead conveyors / cranes and monorails / robotic gantries, paint shop equipment etc.
• Manufacturing Automation - PLC, inverters, switching devices, SCADA, HMI, process control systems, monitoring equipment, sensors, machine vision equipment etc.
• IT Solutions in automotive design, development, planning and manufacturing - digital manufacturing, CAD/CAM/Design, PLM etc.
• Testing & Measurement - precision measuring machines, coordinate measuring machines / precision gauging, quality inspection systems, test chambers, softwares etc.
• Motion Control - linear drives / motion guides / gears, motors & mechanical transmission systems / servo motors / pulleys etc.
• Other functional elements in the production process - adhesives and sealants, coding and marking equipment, casting and forging etc.

20% of the exhibitors are expected in the international pavilion that are likely to bring in foreign technology to India.
