Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 launched in new Desert Gold Edition

The Desert Gold Edition of the Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 has been launched at Rs 85,497 (ex-showroom Delhi). The new Desert Gold Avenger Cruise 220 gets a gold coloured body and a dark brown seat. 

The Cruise 220 was launched last year when the Indian automaker revamped the Avenger range. This much needed update to the Avenger range of Bajaj Auto helped the company to climb to the no. 2 spot in the sports segment. 

In addition to the gold colour and brown seat, the new Avenger Cruise 220 also gets a brown back support for the pillion. Other design elements from the Cruise 220 like the large front visor and chrome inserts on the front suspension forks, exhaust, and backrest frame have been carried forward to the Desert Gold Edition as well.

Since the changes are only cosmetic, the Desert Gold Avenger Cruise 220 is powered by the same 220 cc DTSi engine that produces 18.7 BHP @8,400 rpm, and a peak torque of 17.5 Nm @7,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
