Bajaj-Triumph co-developed bike to debut on June 27

The new Bajaj-Triumph range could compete with the BMW G 310 R, KTM Duke 390 and the likes.

Bajaj Auto and UK-based Triumph Motorcycles have partnered to develop a new range of affordable bikes for the Indian market. The new model, which has already been spotted testing in India, will be unveiled on June 27, 2023.

In a recent interview, Rajiv Bajaj, CEO of Bajaj Auto, confirmed that the global unveiling would be held in London by the end of June. He also mentioned that the bike would go on sale around the second quarter of this fiscal.

Bajaj hinted that there is more than one model under development. The second model, which is expected to be a scrambler, could also be launched in the second quarter of this financial year.

Reports suggest that the Bajaj-Triumph bikes could be powered by a 300-400cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine and are likely to rival the BMW G 310 R, KTM Duke 390 and the likes.
