BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine to be launched on January 21

The Gran Limousine has a longer wheelbase and offers more legroom compared to the regular 3 Series.

BMW is gearing up to launch the 3 Series Gran Limousine in India on January 21, 2021.

As the name suggests, the Gran Limousine is the long-wheelbase version of the 3 Series. The wheelbase has been stretched by 110 mm to 2,961 mm. As a result, rear seat legroom has increased by 43 mm.

The 3 Series Gran Limousine gets different cushioning for the seats and headrests, wider centre armrest, panoramic sunroof and ambient lighting.

The car is likely to be offered with the same engine options as the standard 3 Series. These include a 2.0-litre, turbo-petrol engine producing 255 BHP and 400 NM and a 2.0-litre diesel unit with 188 BHP of peak output.

Reports suggest that the 3 Series Gran Limousine could replace the 3 Series Gran Turismo in India.
