BMW 3-Series LCI facelift teased ahead of its debut

In India, BMW offers the 3-Series in standard and long-wheelbase versions.

BMW has released a short teaser of its upcoming 3-Series facelift. It shows the silhouette of the front fascia with the revised twin-pod LED headlamps.

Now, we've already discussed most of the changes made to the 3-Series last week, thanks to leaked images of the China-spec car. Besides the new headlamp clusters, BMW has also updated the front bumper, which now features a hexagonal air dam. The rear of the car is largely the same, except for the new dual-tone bumper.

The images had also revealed the 330Li variant that gets a gloss black grille with silver inserts, BMW's laser lights, larger alloy wheels shod with low profile tyres and gloss black window trim and ORVMs.

In India, BMW offers the 3-Series in standard and long-wheelbase versions. Both models come with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 255 BHP and 400 Nm and a 2.0-litre diesel that puts out 188 BHP and 400 Nm. The 3-Series facelift is also likely to get the same powertrain options.
